About Us
Formerly known as Esmeralda’s Barn, The Blue Velvet was built in the 1950's. The establishment drew people from everywhere for the environment, the handcrafted drinks, and to try their luck at a game of Poker, Black Jack, or Roulette. Why not try your hand and let our bartenders serve you what they recommend?

Here at The Blue Velvet, we do have a dress code. No jeans, t-shirts, shorts, or sneakers are permitted inside the facility. We recommend slacks, a button-down white or black shirt, a men's suit jacket, and a tie (if desired.) Ladie's are allowed to wear dresses, as long as they are still modest. A low neck line is permitted, but no dress shorter than the middle of your thigh.
About the owner…
Jameson Maddox (29) bought The Blue Velvet in July of 2022, turning it into his own. Jameson has been a regular at the facility for awhile and wants to keep the past alive at The Blue Velvet with some of his favorite music and traditions. Get ready to be all nostalgic with our performers using some soul tone with Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin and even more. The Blue Velvet is now located in NYC, on the south corner of Times Square. Come see us and say hi!
